Lady M Boutiques | World Trade Center

We have two Lady M boutiques that are below 34th Street. The first is our NoMad boutique (which we took a look at here), and the other is our World Trade Center boutique. This boutique is really eye catching and located across from the escalators on the ground floor at Westfield World Trade Center (here's a detailed location map).

Lady M WTC

There's no seating in the boutique but tons of seating in Westfield (and outside, on a pretty day). This is a great location for cake pick-ups (no need to go all the way uptown), or a meeting spot to catch up with friends. Many of our friends work in media and finance companies nearby, and they love to pick up Lady M to take back to the office. We're so happy when fans send their office birthday cake photos. People always used to talk about how hard it was to find good food (and sweets) all the way downtown. Fret no more, we are thrilled to be here :)

We also love our next door neighbor Eataly Downtown. We stop in Eataly often to pick up groceries, enjoy a plate of housemade pasta on the way home, or even during our lunch breaks. The cheese selection is out of this world as is the house bakery... make sure to try all the different varieties of focaccia and pizza bread. They also have a fun wine bar area that gets crowded with the after-work crowd; it's always fun and convivial.

If you visit on a Tuesday, make sure to also stop by the Greenmarket at the Oculus - it's one of the best downtown farmer's market and the spring product this year is especially marvelous. All the sugar snap peas and baby radishes, the stunning pink celery and purple asparagus. It's amazing that we can access such dreamy produce right in the heart of the city. The market also features a lot of different local bread bakers, wine makers, and even local maple syrup. Open 7am-7pm so you have all day to stop by.
And of course you'll check out the Oculus itself! This project cost $4 billion dollars to create, and it's so much more than just a train station or shopping center. We're honored to be in a space that represents new beginnings, beauty from ashes.

From there you can head over to check out the famous Wall Street bull (installed in 1989)... which is now better know as the Charging Bull and the Fearless Girl. Read more about the Fearless Girl here; she was installed in 2017 in the lead-up to International Women's Day. Go early in the morning to avoid crowds if you want to get a good picture.

Checkers

Head a bit more down to see South Ferry which is the southernmost tip of Manhattan. This is where you also catch all the ferries going to Staten Island. It's a free ferry ride going directly between Manhattan and Staten Island, also always make for a fun little journey that gives you a different visual perspective on Manhattan. Worth taking at least once even if you don't plan to visit Staten Island itself.

South Ferry is right next to The Battery (previously known as Battery Park, the name was officially changed in 2015) a giant, 25-acre public park. Make sure to check the famous (and stunning) SeaGlass Carousel while you are at the park. We hope you brought some Lady M slices along! There's plenty of seating and beautiful greenery here.
