Did you know that Singapore was the first place where we opened an international boutique? Fast forward several years and we now have not just one, but five boutiques in this fabulous country.
We love visiting Singapore to see friends, and just as importantly...to eat! The food here in unrivaled from fancy restaurants to street vendors. We love the classic breakfast of kaya toast, soft-cooked eggs, and hot coffee. We love the afternoon teas found in nearly every single hotel in town, and the oh-so satisfying dinners of laksa, oyster omelettes, hokkien mee, and so so much more. We finish all of that with...cake, of course.
On the west side of Singapore we have the Westgate Boutique. In the heart of the island we have three boutiques at Scotts Square, South Beach, and Orchard Central (inside the Orchard Central Shopping Mall). You'll find several cakes flavors in Singapore that we don't make in the US (just one more reason to visit).
Look out for the Vegan Chocolate Tart. They're beautiful individual sizes tarts with a gluten-free chocolate tart shell filled with a supple salted caramel sauce and topped with a vegan dark chocolate ganache. Cacao nibs to top!
In Singapore you'll also find our Yuzu Cheesecake - we blend fresh yuzu peels and yuzu puree into the cheesecake base. The cake is set atop a classic Lady M vanilla sponge cake and topped with dots of yuzu gelee and powdered sugar. It's sunny and cheerful, just like our Passion Fruit Mille Crêpes. Definitely check out the full savory food and drinks menu at our boutiques while you're there. It's like exploring a whole new side to Lady M.
P.S. You can even pick up Lady M on your way out of Singapore. We have a location at Jewel Changi Airport! Imagine our happy surprise when we last boarded a Singapore-to-NYC flight and spotted the passenger next to us eating a slice of Mille Crêpes in flight. Wish we had thought of that idea :)
